We follow an extensive process to ensure your scissors are as sharp and clean as possible
- Initial inspection of shears
- Test cut to help identify any defects
- Disassembly of shears
- Blades and parts cleaned thoroughly
- Angles calculated and shears sharpened
- Burrs (Filings from sharpening) are removed
- Shears are honed
- Rideline is honed
- Scissors cleaned again to remove any waste from sharpening
- Reassembly of scissors and lubricants added
- Scissors are balanced to ensure washer sits correctly
- Tension is set
- Shears are tested to confirm sharpness and cut across the length of the shear
